Finding solutions for making mines more secure
Some environments, such as mines, present difficult access problems. Consequently, the installation of dust collectors and other heavy equipment requires planning efforts with a special touch plus the ability to make the premises secure. Finding solutions requires a high level of expertise.
Concept-air has aquired this know-how from the applications to which its products have been adapted. We relentlessly push the limits to find solutions for every situation, no matter how extreme.
Case study in the mining sector
Installing equipment in difficult lay-outs
A mining company had to equip itself with a big square dust collector. The environment was a major obstacle to the installation of the required equipment. With a narrow entrance, several levels to go through and on-site assembly, meeting their needs was no simple matter.
The challenge :
Introduce a large square dust collector made up of extremely heavy parts through the narrow mine entrance using a multi-storey lifting system.
Create an equipment capable of maintaining good performance in the handling of abrasive materials.
The solution :
Concept-air suggested the company equip itself with a large square dust collector. In a situation like this, where it was impossible to assemble the dust collector before introducing it into the mine it was necessary to adapt its manufacture to the existing conditions.
Each piece was carefully thought out and manufactured keeping in mind that it had to be introduced into the mine through a narrow entrance, that it would be brought to the right place by means of a lifting system and that it would finally be installed on site.
In order to increase the service life of the equipment, we also proposed reinforced piping capable of withstanding the handling of abrasive materials for a longer time.
Quality equipment installed despite extreme conditions and cramped spaces;
Reinforced equipment able to handle abrasive particles that cause rapid equipment wear;
Equipment which is very safe and efficient.
