SPARK AND HOT SPOT DETECTOR

The FM 3/8 is a highly sensitive spark detector used to detect sparks, embers, as well as incandescent and hot particles in industrial process protection scenarios for transported materials, for example during pneumatic and mechanical transport. It uses optical fibers to cope with the high material temperatures (up to 650°C) of certain applications. The spark detector reacts to the infrared radiation of the light emitted by the ignition source. It is designed to be used in an environment free from ambient light. Detection is independent of the temperature of the ignition source and remains optimal even in the event of clogging, thanks to a blowing device (optional). The detector is connected to our control unit using a three-core cable via a terminal box. The control unit continuously monitors this connection and the optimal functioning of the spark detector is checked at automatic intervals. Optical fibers of different lengths allow the detector to be moved away from the high temperature area.
