The DLD 1/9 spark detector offers optimal detection performance for all ignition sources in any environment, thanks to IDT® Intelligent Detection Technology (IDT). The DLD 1/9 is a highly sensitive detector that offers several key advantages. IDT® Intelligent Detection Technology allows the detector to distinguish between sparks/incandescent particles/hot spots and unwanted ambient light. Detection is independent of the ignition source temperature and remains optimal even in the event of clogging, thanks to an optional blow-out device. IDT® Intelligent Detection Technology is also used to avoid false alarms. Hot spot detection in high-temperature processes is also possible thanks to adjustable sensitivity. Mounting the DLD 1/9 is made easy, in any environment, thanks to proven special adapters that are screwed or welded. Typical applications include pneumatic conveyors; also with the presence of inspection hatches nearby, the chutes and the mechanical conveyors.
