The TM 1/9 Ex heat detector detects fires in industrial protection processes based on ambient temperature parameters. The detector continuously measures the ambient temperature and triggers an alarm as soon as the set threshold value is exceeded. If the temperature in the protected object rises particularly quickly, this is recognized by the detector’s algorithms and an alarm is triggered immediately; below the temperature threshold. The detector is connected to our control center using a three-core cable via a terminal box. The control center continuously monitors this connection and the optimal functioning of the spark detector is checked at automatic intervals.
